“River of Our Own” display can be seen in the Lafayette City Hall, located downtown at 20 N. 6th Street. All artwork was presented as a gift to the city of Lafayette by the artists from Artist's Own gallery to commemorate 10 years in business.

Purdue Galleries offer a variety of art forms and exhibits throughout the year. The Ringel and Stewart Galleries feature artwork from regional, national and international artists and the permanent collection.
These exhibits rotate every 6 weeks through the school year. The Rueff Galleries present the works of students and faculty in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts and change every 1-3 weeks so there is always something new to enjoy. Participatory art and writing opportunities are presented regularly, as well as lectures by artists and historians. All Galleries exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.

The building originally opened in 1927 as the Albert A. Wells Memorial Library. However, when the library outgrew the space and opened a new facility in 1989, it became the Wells Community Cultural Center. It is now home to the Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF) which acts as an agency to promote many of the area’s cultural organizations and also sponsors the annual Taste of Tippecanoe.
