Located at the site of a 1717 French outpost, this fort features a recently restored block house and a 30-acre riverside park. The fort is also the site of the annual Feast of the Hunters’ Moon, a fall festival that recreates life at an 18th century fur trading outpost. Spend the day engaged in lively trading with the reenactors or savor the variety of foods roasting and brewing over open fires. The Feast is a weekend in late September or early October each year.
